Oppenheimer and Broda provide 16 large (they span two pages) illustrations, each  accompanied by a short rhyme. The rhymes are never tiresome. At the back, all of the insects and arthropods shown in the illustrations are named.

Have your child pick their favorite insect, and take them on an Internet search to learn more about it.  Again, get this to your child before his/her peers teach him to fear what they do not understand!
