Arthur’s Pet Business

Arthur learns that businessmen must always adjust and improve to succeed.

Arthur's own pet sitting business proves he is responsible enough to own a pet.

Full Review

Arthur wants a pet but has to show he is responsible. After some consideration he advertises himself for pet sitting.  His first job is Mrs. Woods’ aggressive dog ‘Perky’. Arthur cares for other pets, and even makes friends with Perky.  Just as Mrs. Woods returns, Perky disappears.  Ever helpful, D.W. announces, “Guess what? Arthur lost Perky!“  What on earth will Arthur do?

Never didactic, Marc Brown shows what responsibility requires, and that it pays.
